Maybe the last Jedi could work as a way to introduce her ready for episode 9? It's possible. Also I'm finding it hard to see what the point of this character is, and what role she could play.

However, I feel a replication of Mon Mothma could turn back into the argument of how similar the film is to the original trilogy.
